To anybody who knows a thing about the most popular sport in the world (Football) and the biggest basketball-crazy nation this side of the globe (the Philippines) knows that the country is nowhere near being football-crazy. Hence, the Philippine Football team has been always at the butt-end of the football tournaments, even in the regional level.
To all who loves Football, let's all celebrate this victory! Victories like these doesn't happen a lot. Hopefully, this will trigger a new start on Philippine Football, onto new heights!
