That Was It!
Do you like this story?
I waited for like 3 hours for the Philippine team to arrive. IT TOOK THEM LESS THAN TEN SECONDS FOR EVERYONE TO WALK THE PARADE OF NATIONS. Amazing!
And Manny Pacquiao was there, I saw the swimmers somewhat jumping for excitement, no Gloria Arroyo in sight applauding, but the blue barong tagalog was amazing.
Four Golds! I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

i really hate the fact that manny carried the flag instead of an olympian. so unfair...
maybe the government thought that manny is very famous all over the world but what they don't or maybe didn't know, he's really not that famous. the tv announcer don't even know him. ^_^

danyhael!
Thanks for your first comment!
I don't think its quite right to do a manny pacquiao bashing right now. For all we know, he is a wonderful inspiration to our athletes!
I spoke with miguel molina last month about manny pacquiao replacing him as the flagbearer. He said that pacquiao deserved it even more and he's got no problem with it.
