Vieja España or Nueva España?!?!?!?!
Do you like this story?
I tried to deviate a little bit from posting articles about sceneries, skylines, and comparisons of different places on earth.
I watched the 3 city-Federer/Sampras tennis matches during the weekend. Those 3 matches were the bomb! But anyway, that’s not the reason why I will be blogging right now.
Since I was in the spirit of making people guess which city is which and make people compare both, I might as well do it again.
From the 1500’s up until 1898, my country has been under the Spanish rule. Though we might have lost our Hispanic-ness to a certain extent, still, our streets and cities still offer a glimpse of that Latin past.
I’ll be showing you pictures of both Manila and Madrid some one hundred years ago.
Which is Manila?
and which is Madrid?
Take your guess guys! Enjoy!

Though the 2nd image has taller buildings, I guess..... It's Manila...? I remember one photo I saw at my alma mater, the University of Santo Tomas, and that plaza looks like a place in Intramuros... I may be wrong though. Jejeje. (Hahahaha!)
