Bloggers New Social Climbers?
Do you like this story?
I wish not to offend anyone with this post. This is just an honest opinion.
Are (mainstream) bloggers the new social climbers? They pretty much like sprouted out of nowhere. Going into different events here and there. They certainly don't look like celebrities or models. They're just there. They pester you with event invitations and announce to you and the rest of the world that they just finished watching the premiere showing of the newest sci-fi blockbuster. What the heck? I don't really give a D but well, I guess that's what you get when you are caught in the middle of the social networking world.
But really, going back into my topic, are (mainstream) bloggers the new social climbers? Is it the new instant access into fame? Is it the newest way for high school losers to make it big?
I'm pretty mean huh? I'm sorry. Was just sharing an opinion.

oh oh.. hindi naman siguro ako kasama diyan di ba? minsan lang naman ako ngayon nakakasama sa mga events eh hehehe.. dahil na rin sa school loads..
but I guess, kailangan lang talagang gawin yun to promote the product or the service ets.. kung halimbawa nanood sila ng bagong movie c/o ng isang firm, kailangan nilang iaanounce yun as promotion.. di ba? at san pa nga ba ang best way to promote it edi siyempre sa mga netowrking sites kasi mga bloggers sila.. and the mere fact na sumulat ka ng ganito, ibig sabihin, kumakagat yung ganung style ng promotion kasi napapansin mo sila.. di ba?
hindi ito in defense of those bloggers who attend events and promote it sa plurk/twitter etc.,.. hehehe

well maybe there is some truth in it...as for myself, i created a blog about budget social climbing and i can't see anything wrong getting yourself socially accepted by being there and blogging about it. The thing is, there should be no pretensions. So stick with your resources, time and purchasing power. It is OK to be there in the events as long as you can. Stick with the budget!!!
